We recently completed wrack removal and grass cutting on the West and East banks of the Severn Estuary in Gloucestershire, as part of a larger scheme for Land and Water. The work began on the 21st May 2024 and completed on the 12th July.
Overview
With the works taking place close to a flood embankment, extra precautions had to be taken to ensure the safety of our operatives. Due to the public nature of the location, adequate guarding had to be put in place to protect the general public from their activities. Warning signs were displayed during operations, with all gates shut / locked after travelling through.
