ATM are currently contracted for Vegetation Management on the A50 Road from the M1 junction at Derby to Meir Roundabout near Stoke-on-Trent.

We have undertaken this contract for many years, but have now been successful in securing the contract for the next 5 years.

Large scale weed spraying is carried out on both the verge and also the central reservation. This includes a total weed kill and also a growth retardant to suppress the grass growth.

The grass is cut, with a minimum 2 meter swathe cut on the verge and cut areas to improve visibility for motorists. This is usually at junctions.

Also carried out, is an aesthetics cut in specified areas to keep the areas looking neat and tidy.

Later on in the year we cut and collect approx. 42000m2 of wildflower areas to promote species rich grassland and wildflowers.
