Working on a recent Environment Agency project, ATM completed 1800m2 of wildflower turfing alongside the River Tame in Birmingham.

The turf was laid in 1m x 600mm squares, following the installation of concrete flood defence barriers, and is part of a trial to encourage more diverse habitats to develop and thrive in these built areas.

ATM will be carrying out regular maintenance here for the next year, monitoring progress and to cut and collect wildflower seeds, increasing the longevity of this new wildflower embankment.
