Collaborating with Jacksons for the Environment Agency, ATM and sub-contractors, OBL have been contracted to Torksey Lock to undertake fencing and hydroseeding.

Jacksons, the principle contractor, have installed piles into the ground to create a flood defence. They then built a soil bund, which ATM fenced and it was then hydroseeded by OBL.

We installed 245m of new stock proof fencing and reinstalled a 12ft gate and a pedestrian gate.

These were installed with ATM's Solotrack Post Knocker.

5800m2 of hydroseeding was then carried out by OBL, against a fantastic backdrop!

Hydroseeding in such areas as these is usually the preferred method, as the results are often quick with high germination rates producing grass growth in about a week and mowing maintenance beginning around 3 to 4 weeks from the date of application.
