A fantastic new intiative has been kickstarted by Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity this month, with the launch of their new text to talk number.

It's no secret that poor mental health is higher in construction workers than in any other industry, and with the introduction of this new text number, it will continue to help break down the stigmas and get people talking.

Sometimes it is easier to write down how you're feeling in a text, than to have a one to one conversation with somebody, and we hope this encourages more people to reach out for support, via this new lifeline.
